WooRank’s LeadGen tool is a great feature for people who want to generate more qualified leads for their digital agency or other business. You simply embed a bit of code on your landing page and receive an email every time someone generates a WooRank Review on your site. And now, you can use the Email Parser by Zapier to send your lead’s contact information directly to your customer relationship management platform.

You can do it in 5 easy steps that take 10 minutes or less.

And I’m going to show you how.

Step 1: Login or Create a Free Account

Head to the Zapier Email Parser homepage at https://parser.zapier.com/ and click the "Login" button. Enter the login credentials associated with your Zapier account.

If you don’t have a Zapier account yet, you can create one for free on the Zapier homepage. Once your Zapier account is all set up, head back to the Email Parser and log in.

Step 2: Create a Parser Email Inbox

Once you’re logged in, you’ll find yourself on the mailboxes index page. This will list all the email inboxes you’ve created for your Parser account. If you’re logging in for the first time this should be empty.

To create an inbox, click the "Create Mailbox" button. Then, forward a LeadGen email to the email address displayed by the Email Parser:

It’s important you use an email from WooRank’s LeadGen tool because the Email Parser will use that to form your template.

I recommend giving your inbox a unique email address that describes what it’s for.

For our purposes here, something like "woorankleadgen" would make sense.

Step 3: Set Up Your Parser Template

Next, you’ll use the LeadGen email to set up your Email Parser template. This template will define the data that you’ll send from the LeadGen tool to your CRM or email marketing provider.

Your LeadGen emails will include the data entered in the form embedded in your page:

  • Name
  • Email
  • Phone
  • Website

Step 4: Define Fields in Your Template

This is where you’ll tell the Parser what data to send to Zapier.

In your inbox’s initial template, highlight the data and give it a name. This is the name you’ll use when creating Zaps later on so use something you’ll recognize and remember.

You should see the highlighted data change format to the field name you just specified enclosed in 2 curly brackets. Like this: {{name}}.

You can change the name by left clicking on it again.

Do this for each bit of information you want to send to your CRM or email provider.

Click the "Save Mailbox and Template" button at the bottom of the page.

Step 5: Make a New Zap

Go to your regular Zapier account and click the "Make a Zap!" button. Search for Email Parser in the trigger app box and click on it. Click on the “New Email” button and click “Continue”.

On the next page, click the "Connect an Account" page and authorize your Zapier account to connect with your Email Parser account. Click “Save and Continue”.

On the next page, select the inbox you want to use from the drop-down menu. This is why we recommend you use descriptive and easy-to-remember names, especially if you end up creating a lot of Parser inboxes.

Click "Continue" and then “Load in Samples”.

Voila!

Just finish up by creating an action to send the data from Zapier to your CRM or email platform and you’re all set.

Time to Start Closing Those Leads!

Now you’ll have a new record in your CRM or email platform that you can get started on the sales process. And all it took was a few clicks of the button in about 10 minutes. Nice.
