What's New at WooRank in January?
We at WooRank are consistently aiming to deliver the most relevant tool with the freshest data to help you improve your search rankings. That's why we're updating the audits, tweaking the criteria or releasing new features every single month!
So, what's new to kick off 2019? Read on to find out...
Crawler filtering
We have improved the filtering functionality in the Site Crawl Tool, making it easier to slice and dice your crawl data. This can be very useful when analyzing particular sections of your website, specific error types, or if you want to exclude patterns from your URLs.
For example, the image below shows the data is filtered to only include URLs that contain ‘/blog/’ AND do not contain ‘/2013/’. You can also group conditions together to drill down even further!
It's also now possible to share a filtered selection (excluding search filters) with logged in colleagues by sharing the URL.
Keyword CSV download
You can now export your keyword data to get a snapshot of your current keyword positions compared to the previous week, along with any competitors that are being tracked. Data from the keyword spread graph is also provided, giving details of your overall keyword rankings over time.
Open Graph Protocol
Facebook developed the Open Graph protocol to enable the integration of any web page with its social media platform. Other social media platforms have also adopted the protocol, allowing you to control how your web pages are presented when shared across social media.
The new Open Graph Protocol section checks that open graph tags are present and have been correctly implemented, giving details of any errors. A preview of how the web page is presented in social media is also provided to demonstrate which elements of a web page will be used.
