- 99 % des diplômés du titre d'Ingénieur
- 89 % des diplômés de Doctorats

L'Université de Pau et des Pays de l'Adour accueille chaque année plus de 1400 étudiants étrangers, venus d’Europe et du monde entier : Amérique du Nord, Amérique du Sud, Afrique, Asie et Océanie.
Avec 333 accords bilatéraux Erasmus et 80 accords de coopération inter-universitaires, elle participe à des échanges d'étudiants, d'enseignants et de chercheurs à l’international.
De par sa proximité géographique avec l'Espagne, l'UPPA développe des coopérations universitaires transfrontalières originales aussi bien dans le domaine de l'enseignement que de la recherche.

Acteur majeur en matière de recherche, de développement et d’innovation, l’UPPA intervient dans plusieurs disciplines en s’appuyant sur une recherche d’excellence en partenariat avec d’autres organismes de recherche :
- 24 équipes de recherche développent des activités de recherche fondamentale en association avec des grands organismes nationaux (CNRS, INRA, INRIA,…) et internationaux, et de recherche appliquée avec des partenaires institutionnels et industriels.
- 2 écoles doctorales sont accréditées par le ministère de l'Education nationale, de l'Enseignement supérieur et de la Recherche : l'Ecole doctorale des sciences et leurs applications - ED 211 et l'Ecole doctorale des sciences sociales et humanités 2SH - ED 481.

Au niveau national et international, l’UPPA est présente au sein de pôles de compétitivité nationaux ou mondiaux, et participe à des consortiums européens ainsi qu'à de nombreux programmes ANR. Elle s’implique particulièrement dans le développement de collaborations avec les établissements universitaires voisins espagnols.
