Mission
SCORE International exists to expose people to missions, evangelize the lost, edify believers, and enhance the work of local missionaries.

Our purpose is to organize short-term trips overseas in order to win the lost and establish nationals in a local church.

The objective of SCORE International is to recruit individuals as well as groups from churches, schools, and colleges. Such groups include, but are not limited to, senior classes, sports teams, drama teams, music teams, medical teams, youth groups, prime-timers, and construction crews.

Ultimately, SCORE International desires to win the lost.
Company overview
In 1985, Ron Bishop resigned as the basketball coach at Tennessee Temple University to start a sports missions ministry. Taking a basketball team to Mexico, this unusual ministry had a lasting impact. Since then, thousands of athletes have traveled with SCORE to 20 countries and have preached the Gospel to thousands of spectators at halftime. In addition, millions of others have heard the message through television and radio coverage.

SCORE has expanded and is taking church youth groups, senior class trips, educators, choirs, medical teams and construction teams all in an effort to evangelize, expose people to missions, and edify the local church. SCORE has established orphanages in Costa Rica and the Dominican Republic. A medical facility in the Dominican Republic has been built and serves local pastors and missionaries, as well as the poor who cannot afford medical care.

In the Dominican Republic, SCORE is partnering with the Rawlings Foundation to operate a Baseball Academy, Camp, and Bible College. The Rawlings Foundation has built a world-class facility that SCORE will help operate and share in the ministry.

Currently, SCORE owns facilities in the Dominican Republic and Costa Rica. Missionaries are in place to begin ministry in Panama and Romania and we can facilitate trips to almost any country in the world.

SCORE also offers Domestic Missions to Detroit, MI, Chattanooga, TN, Washington, DC, Pensacola, FL, Huntington, WV, Buffalo, NY, Eutaw, AL, or anywhere you want to go!

In addition to short-term trips, SCORE runs a bilingual Bible program called GAP (Global Adventure Pursuit). This program is designed for young people ages 18-25 to travel to study the Spanish language, the Latin American culture, and missions. It's a year long program that is based in San Jose, Costa Rica.

Other events include our annual November Baseball Outreach in the Dominican Republic, our annual Golf Tournament in Chattanooga, TN, our annual Women's Conference in October in the Dominican Republic and our biannual KOSMOS Conference.
