Chacomer S.A.E. es una empresa fundada en el año 1956 por el Sr. Kornelius Walde. Fue constituida inicialmente como una Sociedad de Responsabilidad Limitada y en el año 1975 se transformó en Sociedad Anónima, pasando a cotizar sus acciones en la Bolsa de Valores y Productos de Asunción desde el año 1995, siendo una de las primeras empresas Emisoras de Capital Abierto, en su rubro.
Inició sus actividades comerciales importando y vendiendo productos varios, como cepillos, repuestos para bicicletas, artículos varios de ferretería, entre otros.

Rápidamente fue incorporando a su línea de productos, las bicicletas Görike y Heidemann, las cuales inicialmente fueron importadas desde Alemania.

Conforme crecía la empresa, se fueron sumando nuevos productos a sus líneas, tales como relojes despertadores, de pared, pulsera, motosierras, repuestos y accesorios para motocicletas y motosierras, electrodomésticos, artículos de bazar y otros.

Desde el año 1972 Chacomer ha representado en forma exclusiva y continua las bicicletas Caloi, que hoy día lideran el mercado de bicicletas en Paraguay.

Desde el año 1991 se han incorporado a las líneas comerciales de Chacomer, las motocicletas Hero Puch, SYM, y últimamente las motocicletas Kenton. En la línea de bicicletas se han incorporado las bicicletas Milano.

En el año 2002, Chacomer S.A.E., ha instalado en la ciudad de Fernando de la Mora - en un predio de 20.000 m2 - una planta industrial del rubro metal mecánica, equipada con tecnología de última generación. En la planta industrial se fabrican motocicletas, bicicletas y equipos de gimnasia, donde cada unidad fabricada es sometida a estrictos controles de calidad, para garantizar el cumplimiento de las normas de producción y lograr así los más altos estándares de calidad. Todas las motocicletas, bicicletas y equipos de gimnasia que comercializa la empresa, tienen una garantía real contra defectos de fabricación y cuentan con un respaldo total de servicio y disponibilidad de repuestos, para mantener funcionando la unidad durante muchos años.
